Exxon Valdez Oil Spill
The Problem
The Exxon Valdez Oil Spill was the result of an irresponsible act by the Exxon Shipping Company in March 23, 1989. As the oil-filled ship rammed against Bligh Reef, more than a 125,000 wildlife had been killed.
The amount of crude oil spilled could fill 125 Olympic-sized swimming pools. The clean-up had taken about 10,000 workers, 1000 boats and about 100 air crafts to help clean the oceans and seas.
